The ANZAC Parade was well presented by our current School Captains Levi and Keely with the assistance of the other school leaders. Community support on the day was well represented with a large parent turn out and exceptional behaviour of all students during the service in our under cover area.
A special thank you to Mr Harry Pregnall, Army Warrant Officer and Mr Ben Salm for the amazing speeches. It made us all stop to think how lucky we are. Also to Mr & Mrs Williams for their continued support.
It was certainly a moving and special service.
On Monday at the Manly Anzac Day March our school was also well represented with students arriving early in full school uniform with their parents. This again was another show of respect for this occasion and the ANZAC spirit is well and truly alive at Wynnum West. We would like to personally thank all parents and staff for your levels of support over the last four days around Anzac Day.
