Implement and monitor C2C consolidated English Units to ensure thorough teaching of Australian Curriculum.
Extend planning sessions with the HOC, focussing on Australian Curriculum:

ICT and Cross Curriculum Priorities (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Culture)
Continue moderation processes at the end of each unit and participate in cross year level moderation to ensure consistency of achievements.
Implement moderation at the start of each unit during planning sessions
Implementation of AAP in Prep and Year 1
Developing the Capacity of Staff
Build capacity with using diagnostic and formative assessment with an explicit focus on reading
Build capacity and consistency around the teaching of Reading
Continue coaching, observation and feedback practices across the whole school with a focus on explicit instruction
Professional Development Plans to be aligned with out AIP and to be reviewed twice a year (Term 2 & 4)
Reading
Review and refine whole school approach to Reading Framework to ensure consistency of practice, improved knowledge and understanding a balanced approach to the teaching of reading
Educate the school community to inform that reading is the school priority. This will be established through newsletter, before school reading, guest speakers, information sessions, culminating activities and participation at home
